- FIFA world cup was not organized in 1942 and 1946 due to Second World War.

- Brazil topped the list of winning the title five times followed by Italy with four titles.

- Brazilian Ronaldo is the top scorer with 15 goals in world cup history followed by Gerad Muller with 14.

- This is 19^th world cup which will play in South Africa starting from 11^th June , 2010 and will ends on 11^th July, 2010 at Johansburg, SA.
