-          CRT stands for Cathode Ray Tube and TFT-LCD Stands for Thin Film Transistor – Liquid Crystal Display.
-          In CRT, the display device is a Cathode Ray tube.
-          In TFT-LCD, the display device is a flat array of thin film transistors.
-           CRT monitor is bulky, consume a lot of space and power thirsty.
-          TFT-LCD is smaller in size, consume less space and save power. A 15” CRT monitor consumes 100 W power in comparison to TFT consumes 30 W.
-          CRT monitor has much faster response time than TFT –LCD monitor.
-          CRT monitor has one more advantage than TFT as its color responses.  CRT displays colors much better than TFT.
-          TFT monitor are easier on the eyes of the viewers than the CRT.
