We all know many things about Mr. M.S.Dhoni but few things are underneath which we don’t know about “Mahi”……..
- Mahendra Singh Dhoni akka “Mahi” were born on 7th july, 1981 at Ranchi , Jharkhand.
- His father Pan Singh and Mother Devki Devi belongs to Almora district of Uttarkhand.
- His Father is working in a Tata company.
- Dhoni studied only upto 12th at DAV school, Ranchi and he took the admission in B.Com after a gap of 10 year and did not able to sit in the examination of exam of first year.
- Mahi has one sister- Jayanti and one brother – Narendra.
- His cricket career began with Commando Cricket Club at Ranchi.
- His debut in cricket in Bihar U-19 in 1998-99.
- Dhoni made his Ranji debut for Bihar in 1999-2000 season and scored 68* in second innings against Assam Cricket team.
- He has toured for India A to Kenya and Zimbabwe in 2003-04.
- Dhoni was selected in the senior team for Bangladesh tour in 2004-05 for ODI series.
- His test debut began with Srilanka in December,2005.
- Dhoni is the recipients of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and Padma Shri awards from Indian government and he is also ranked as ICC ODI player of the year 2008 and 2009.
- On 4th July,2010 – He tied in knot with his school time girlfriend –Sakshi Rawat at Dehradun.
- In advertising world, Dhoni has a brand value of more than 100 crore.
