How much you know about Commonwealth Games?

-Commonwealth countries are those countries which were the part of British empire earlier including England.

- At present there are 54 members of the Commonwealth of Nations, and 72 teams participate in the Games.

- The first commonwealth games were organized in 1930 under the title British empire games at Hamilton, Canada.

- From 1978, This event is known as Commonwealth Games.

- Delhi Commonwealth Games will be the XIX Commonwealth games and will be held from 3rd Oct – 14th Oct, 2010.

- There are 17 Sports included in XIX Commonwealth Games.

- XX Commonwealth games will be held at Glasgow, Scotland from 23 July- 4th July, 2014.
